There was a moment on Friday during Maple Stave's set when I opened my eyes and I felt my chest open up and it felt like everyone in McCormick's was levitating. This is why we do what we do.

I've long ago given up any teenage rock star fantasies, and I think it is safe to say the same goes for Maple Stave. That doesn't even exist anymore, and if it does, it's not healthy. I just want to feel connection. I want to feel alive, together, with all of you.

I'm sure this sounds over-dramatic. Forgive me.
